Cat & Mouse Press e-newsletter

The Cat & Mouse Press e-newsletter provides informational articles for writers, news from Cat & Mouse Press, and a list of upcoming and ongoing meetings and events for writers in Maryland, Delaware, and nearby areas. The newsletter is by free subscription and delivered via email mid-month. Sign up to receive the newsletter here. Email addresses are occasionally used for special event or news notifications, but are not used for ongoing marketing purposes. Subscribers can opt-out at any time.

This newsletter addresses topics of value to writers such as the structure of writing, computer tools, getting published, self-publishing, and promoting written work. Beginning writers as well as experienced writers will find useful information. Each issue contains 3-5 short articles, often by experienced writers, editors, or publishers. The editor endeavors to provide content that is practical and actionable, in a concise format. Past articles have covered nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and writing for children.

Each issue contains a list of ongoing writing events such as open mics, writers’ group meetings, and readings, as well as specific upcoming events such as book launches, bookstore events, writing conferences, and visiting celebrity authors. Event content is focused on the Delmarva region.
